We know that plants and trees have always been able to communicate on subtle levels by sending out pheromones, inaudible sounds, scent to signal dangers. Through scientific and empirical research, Plant Perception aims to reach a new level of understanding, changing the model from human perspective to the plant world point of view.
Plants emit signals in reaction to external stimuli and to communicate with everything. These signals are detectable as variations in the bio-electrical field of the plant and can be converted into a MIDI signal (Musical Instruments Digital Interface). We then can send this MIDI signal into a synthesizer, soothing sound tuned at 432 Hz.
Music has the ability to open many gates of communication, and we know this very well. It makes us dream; it evokes feelings and different kinds of states in us; it heals; it lets us express ourselves.

As a Musician and Sound Healer, I know this aspects of music very well. But what I have come to know through my experience with the Music of the Plants has more to do with myself and my ability to listen. When one engages in a musical dialogue with a plant, one enters a different level of awareness.
​Or should I say, “one should enter” for the dialogue to even take place.
I have improvised music countless times in my life, alone and with other musicians. I am far too used to the human response—to a call or to respond in a human way to a call.
With a plant, we need to allow our self to slow down, first of all in my mind, and sink deeper. So many aspects of a plant’s life happen on a different time scale. After some time being connected to such device and producing sounds, plants seem to become aware of the process; they seem to understand that those sounds are coming from them...and they start playing with it.
